May 20th, 2017 was the annual Quick Draw event in Waynesville, NC
18 artists gathering to start a finish a painting with a one hour time limit. Afterward, these pieces were auction off of which proceeds were to art education, school supplies and scholarships. Fun event!!!

Lately have been doing “quick draws” with oils on a 12×12 canvas…fun, challenging with the idea to be loose, explosive with color all in one hour. Sharpening skills with the essence of simplicity. Love it all!!!
